Play and LearnAt Bearspaw Preschool

The Bearspaw Preschool is a not-for-profit society in NW Calgary, that offers both morning and afternoon programs for three and four year old students. The preschool is operated by a five member executive board, all of which are comprised of elected parent volunteers. The Bearspaw Preschool is committed to providing a rich and exciting play environment where your child can learn, play, make new friends, discover and create in a positive and fun way.

  • Love Bearspaw Preschool! Our son started late in October but was welcomed and made to feel at home. The teachers are wonderful, couldn't ask for a better place for the start of his education.

His teachers are absolutely super, the class room is spacious and filled with so many great things (the activities within the program are also just excellent) and the full size gym is a real treat to cap off each class. Followed by time outdoors in the playground with his new friends before heading home. I am just thrilled at how excited he gets when he knows it's a school day!

  • Both our children are attending the preschool this year and the program is amazing. The teachers are great with the children and there is never a day that my kids don’t want to go to school. The full size gym is an added bonus with bike day each week being a favourite day in our house!

  • By far the best preschool in the area. The class rooms are well equipped and the program is great. The teachers are very caring and intuitive to their students needs. The class sizes are good and I have never felt that my child’s needs aren’t being met. I love that there is a full size gym that the children get to use every day as well as a play park on the warmer days of the year. The field trips are wonderful and the special visitors year round are a bonus. The preschool is extremely well organised I never feel out of the loop and we love that you can really get involved with your child time there; from class room volunteering, attending art galas, to helping out on the board. I would and do often recommend this preschool and will be sad to say goodbye to our time here when my youngest moves on to kindergarten.
